Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! As you probably know, I joined the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC this past season. It has enriched my life, and I've watched it enrich the lives of many people around me. Since joining, I've sung at at the Kennedy Center in DC, Lincoln Center in NYC, a Washington Nationals baseball game, DC's Walk to End HIV, Frank Kameny's grave site, at vigils for the victims of the Orlando shooting, and on Saturday, June 17 I will be singing with the chorus in Raleigh, North Carolina in protest of the hate law that discriminates against the transgender community, there. Chorus members also volunteer at Food and Friends and other important causes. Two years ago, the chorus also founded the first LGBTQ youth chorus, providing high school students with a safe space for them to express themselves and opportunities for them to advocate on behalf of themselves and their peers. Meanwhile, last summer a group from GMCW traveled to Cuba to sing in support of equal rights, and a group of singers just returned from Ukraine, where they were the first LGBTQ organization to perform on network TV, there.

GMCW is a powerful force for good in our world, so anything you can do to support the organization is much appreciated!

Please help GMCW on our 35th anniversary to sing where our voices need to be heard, and give voice to the next generation.

Did you hear about GMCW's concert tour in Cuba last summer? And did you see our new GenOUT youth chorus perform at our recent concert? These programs can't continue to grow without investment. I have a goal of raising $600 by the time GMCW turns 35 on June 28. Any amount, large or small, will help, and thank you for investing with me!
